English Story The Wind And The Sun One day the wind said to the sun, Look at that man walking along the road. I can get his cloak off more quickly than you can. We will see about that, said the sun. I will let you try first. So the wind tried to make the man take off his cloak. He blew and blew, but the man only pulled his cloak more closely around himself. I give up, said the wind at last. I cannot get his cloak off. Then the sun tried. He shone as hard as he could. The man soon became hot and took off his cloak. the lion and the fox the lion once said that he was sick on his death bed. So he asked all the animals to come and listen to his last wishes. the goat came to the lion s cave. He stood there and listened for a long time. then a sheep went in. Before she came out, a rabbit entered to hear the last wishes of the king of beasts. But soon the lion seemed to recover, and went to the mouth of his cave. He saw a fox waiting outside. Why don t you come in? asked the lion to the fox. I beg Your Majesty s pardon, said the fox, I have seen many animals enter your cave, but none of them come out. Till they come out again, I prefer to wait outside. The Old Cat An old woman had a cat. The cat was very old; she could not run quickly, and she could not bite, because she was so old. One day the old cat saw a mouse; she jumped and caught the mouse. But she could not bite it; so the mouse got out of her mouth and ran away, because the cat could not bite it. Then the old woman became very angry because the cat had not killed the mouse. She began to hit the cat. The cat said, Do not hit your old servant. I have worked for you for many years, and I would work for you still, but I am too old. Do not be unkind to the old, but remember what good work the old did when they were young. 这只猫很老，它跑不快了，也咬不了东西，因为它年纪太大了。一天，老猫发现一只老鼠，它跳过去抓这只老鼠，然而，它咬不住这只老鼠。因此，老鼠从它的嘴边溜掉了，因为老猫咬不了它。于是，老妇很生气，因为老猫没有把老鼠咬死。她开始打这只猫，猫说：不要打你的老仆人，我已经为你服务了很多年，而且还愿意为你效劳，但是，我实在太老了，对年纪大的不要这么无情，要记住老年人在年青时所做过的有益的事情。 Do not throw good things away; you may be glad to have them at some other time. A man was going to the house of some rich person. As he went along the road, he saw a box of good apples at the side of the road. He said, I do not want to eat those apples; for the rich man will give me much food; he will give me very nice food to eat. Then he took the apples and threw them away into the dust.He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big; so he could not go over it. He waited for some time; then he said, I cannot go to the rich mans house today, for I cannot get over the river. He began to go home. He had eaten no food that day. He began to want food. So the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow,and rested.All of a sudden. A fox appeared,jumped on the rabbit and ate it .moral of the story is :To be sitting and doing nothing ,you must be sitting very very high up! The wolf in sheeps clothingA wolf wanted to eat the sheep, but he was afraid of the vigilant shepherd and his dogs. One day the wolf found the skin of a sheep. He put it on and walked among the sheep. A lamb thought that the wolf was its mother because his skin looked like hers. So it followed the wolf. Soon after they had left the dogs, the wolf came at the lamb and ate it up. For some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals. 披着羊皮的狼狼想吃羊，但是他害怕警惕的牧羊人和牧羊犬。有一天狼发现了一块羊皮，便披着它混入羊群。一只小羊羔把这只披着羊皮的狼误认为自己的妈妈，被领出了羊群。狼成功地欺骗了羊群，吃掉了小羊羔。寓意：事物的外表有时候会掩盖它的本质，所以我们不能只凭表面现象就作判断。 Park There is a park near my home.There are a lot of beautiful trees,flowers and birds in the park.So many people go to the park to enjoy their weekends.They like walking or having a picnic in the park.But I like flying a kite with my sisiter there. 我家附近有一个公园。哪里有很多美丽的树、花和小鸟。所以很多人都喜欢到那里去度周末。他们喜欢在公园里散步或是野餐.但是我喜欢和我姐姐在那里放风筝。 Bedroom I have a small bedroom.There are only a small bed,a small desk and a small chair in the room.And there is a beautiful doll on my blue bed.Everyday I do my homework,read books and play games with the doll in my bedroom.It is small,but it gives me much happiness. 我有一间小小的卧室。那里有一张小小的床、小小桌子和一把小小的椅子。而且还有一个漂亮的娃娃在我那张蓝色的小床上。我每天都在房间里写作业，看书和与我的娃娃玩。虽然房间很小，但是他给了我很多欢乐。
